MY STORY
I was born into a highly artistic, playful, and 'unconventional' family. My mother knowingly married a gay man and dove into an interestingly tumultuous partnership that led to having 3 children. Including, moi. From the womb forward, my perception of the life was coloured with possibilities that at the time weren't as common. Growing up in Toronto gave me a taste of the world with all its wonderful diversity. It has shaped my passion and appreciation for all kinds of different music, food, dance, and culture in general. Throughout my life, my enthusiasm for supporting people to feel confident in their own skin has been my main theme. My passion towards personal development and healing will always be vibrantly alive in me, and my past challenges and experiences have unequivocally shaped my desire to support people. It's been one hell of a journey thus far and I'm deeply committed to continuously growing. I've recently gotten diagnosed with ADHD, and It's been a tremendously helpful piece of the puzzle to identify. It's allowed me to move forward with more awareness, tools, acceptance, and appreciation for someone who's never coloured within the lines even if I wanted to;)
I'm an individual who loves to lead, listen, and make people feel heard and seen. I'm an ICF professionally certified coach and working towards becoming a somatic practitioner through core energetics. I've incorporated my dance training, years of hospitality, yoga, and a significant amount of experience in somatic therapy into my coaching practice. I blend empowered communication, emotional intelligence training, with the art of somatic and embodied living. For these are foundations to feeling emotionally fit.
I work with the principles of compassion, humour, integrity, movement, ownership, curiosity, and authenticity. My powerful desire to guide others into inspired action comes from these guiding principles and will never be rooted in perfection. I use an inclusive, acceptance-based approach, always. My passion to coach, teach and guide people to become the fullest most radiant version of themselves feels like second nature.

Collectively, more than ever, normalizing learning how to prioritize our healing, and personal development will be one the most important choices we can make in our lives. While dismantling systemic oppression in our society, we must also dismantle outdated emotionally oppressive attitudes, beliefs and practices that keep us stuck, and ultimately suffering in our lives. For generations, these attitudes and belief systems have been deeply embedded in our culture. They show up in our school systems, family systems, workplace etc. As a result, people are raised to be emotionally cut off from themselves, others, lacking trust, emotional resilience, and lacking the tools to express vulnerability needed to have healthy relationships.

Collectively speaking, most of our wounding happens relationally and when we don't do the work to learn and heal we pass down these wounds from generation to generation. The cycle needs to break.
Creating change starts within ourselves. Baby steps. Get curious about the possibilities of who you get to become and who you might impact along the way by cultivating more emotional fitness.
